MIGRATION: Bundestag stimmt über "GEAS"-Reform ab – Experte warnt vor neuem Asyl-Flop!
Der Bundestag berät über die Umsetzung des Gemeinsamen Europäischen Asylsystems (GEAS) – ein zentrales Projekt der EU-#Asylreform zur Begrenzung irregulärer #Migration und der sogenannten Sekundärmigration.Migrationsexperte Gerald Knaus warnt deutlich: „Alle Konstruktionsfehler von Dublin bleiben erhalten.“
Das Wichtigste in Kürze:
• Was soll GEAS leisten? → Schnellere Verfahren und Rückführungen in zuständige EU-Staaten.
• Wo liegt das Problem? → Viele Überstellungen scheitern an fehlender Kooperation einzelner Länder wie Italien oder Ungarn.
• Bringt der schnellere Arbeitsmarktzugang etwas? → Theoretisch ja – praktisch könnten viele Betroffene als Dublin-Fälle ausgenommen sein.
Knaus sieht einen grundlegenden Widerspruch zwischen restriktiver #Asylpolitik und humanitärem Anspruch – auch mit Blick auf die Rolle von #NancyFaeser und der früheren Ampel-Koalition. Ohne funktionierende Zusammenarbeit in der EU drohe auch diese Reform die Erwartungen zu enttäuschen. Entscheidend werde sein, ob Europa irreguläre Migration an den Außengrenzen wirksam reduziert.
