Joe Bastianich sta per mettere la sua firma anche su Torino. E lo farà in pieno centro, in Piazza Carlina, dove nelle prossime settimane aprirà JBBurger, il nuovo locale dedicato alla sua idea di burger contemporaneo. I lavori sono in corso e lui stesso, nelle ultime ore, ha confermato l’arrivo sotto la Mole con un video pubblicato sui suoi profili social da oltre un milione e mezzo di follower: «Posto fighissimo, location top. Piazza Carlina. Mi hanno mandato ora le foto dei lavori: siamo in centro città. Non vedo l’ora: Torino aspettateci».Un progetto che punta dritto al cuore della città e che, nelle intenzioni del team, vuole diventare un riferimento per i panini in stile americano, molto amati e con nuna megaofferta anche nel Capoluogo. «Manca sempre meno all’apertura di JBBurger. Teniamo molto a Torino, per questo siamo in una location in pieno centro». Una scelta che conferma l’interesse crescente di Bastianich per il Piemonte, tra cucina, vini e nuove aperture. Joe Bastianich è un imprenditore, ristoratore statunitense con cittadinanza italiana, nato a New York nel 1968 conosciuto soprattutto come volto dei giudici di Masterchef. Il format del nuovo locale, già aperto a Milano e Roma, sarà quello già sperimentato altrove: burger di alta gamma, materie prime selezionate, un ambiente informale ma curato. E, come ha scherzato lui stesso, non mancherà un tocco tutto piemontese: «Portate un bicchiere di Barolo per me». Sulla scia di altri «ristoratori influencer» che con alterne vicende si sono affacciati sulla piazza torinese - dalla CrazyPizza di Flavio Briatore a «Franchino er criminale» - Torino si prepara così ad accogliere un nuovo indirizzo della ristorazione internazionale, in una delle piazze più eleganti e frequentate del centro.
