Верните Concord! Европейское лобби против Stop Killing Games

Знаете про инициативу Stop Killing Games? Более 1 млн подписей собрали в защиту старых игр. Люди снова вспомнили, что покупают по сути не игры, а лицензии на право их использования. Когда лицензии стали отзывать (и сейчас новости про это звучать особенно часто), появился блогер Росс Скотт, организовал целое движение и уже добился того, чтобы власти Европы обратили на него внимание. Будут рассматривать вопрос.

Но конечно все непросто. Европейское лобби игровой индустрии уже выступило с ответным заявлением о НЕВОЗМОЖНОСТИ сохранять старые игры, потому что (далее пункты о заботе к пользователям и их безопасности).

И на все это Лобби со стороны, с немым укором смотрят поляки из CD Projekt RED с их магазином GOG, где игры выпускаются вообще без защиты, и пользователь может спокойно скачать любой дистрибутив. Там игры ПРИНАДЛЕЖАТ покупателю. И от этого примера надо отталкиваться, когда мы говорим о НЕВОЗМОЖНОСТИ сохранять наследие.

GOG — это эталон. Торренты — необходимое зло за право сохранять (и развивать) классические игры. Интересно, к какому выводу придет Еврокомиссия.
