Masyarakat menunggu Pegi keluar untuk sekedar berjabat tangan dan mengucapkan selamat pasca bebas dari status tersangka kasus pembunuhan Vina dan Eky Cirebon.
Berdasarkan pantauan Tribun Jabar di lokasi, warga mengisi sejumlah kursi yang disiapkan sejak kemarin.
Tak lama, Pegi keluar menghampiri warga.
Kegembiraan dan haru masih terlihat di momen tersebut.
Salah satu warga mengaku ingin bertemu Pegi sejak kemarin untuk mengucapkan selamat secara langsung atas kebebasannya.
Hingga Rabu pagi, rumah Pegi masih dipenuhi oleh warga yang ingin memberikan dukungan dan doa.
Suasana di Desa Kepongpongan pun dipenuhi dengan semangat solidaritas dan harapan akan keadilan yang terus diperjuangkan.
Sementara, Pegi pun sekira pukul 08.30 WIB berangkat menuju Jakarta untuk menghadiri beberapa acara di sana.
Pegi didampingi oleh ibu dan tiga adiknya serta kuasa hukumnya, Sugianti Iriani.
Rencananya, Pegi akan berada di Jakarta selama dua hari atau kembali ke rumahnya pada Jumat (12/7/2024) nanti.(*)
