Ia menyebut praktik tambang ilegal tersebut sudah berlangsung lama.
Hingga kini aset-asetnya resmi diambil alih oleh pemerintah.
Pernyataan itu disampaikan Prabowo dalam acara serah terima Barang Rampasan Negara (BRN) kepada PT Timah Tbk di Pangkalpinang, Kepulauan Bangka Belitung, pada Senin (6/10/2025).
Dalam kesempatan itu, Prabowo menegaskan bahwa kebocoran akibat tambang ilegal harus segera dihentikan.
Karena telah merugikan negara dalam jumlah fantastis.
Ia mengungkapkan, total nilai aset rampasan yang diserahkan kepada PT Timah mencapai sekira Rp 6 hingga Rp 7 triliun.
Namun, angka itu belum termasuk potensi sumber daya tanah jarang (monasit) yang memiliki nilai ekonomi jauh lebih besar dan bisa mencapai ratusan ribu dolar per ton.
Sementara itu, Prabowo hadir bersama sejumlah pejabat tinggi negara, meninjau area smelter PT Tinindo Internusa.
Dalam pidatonya, Prabowo menegaskan bahwa langkah penyitaan.
Serta pengembalian aset ini menjadi bukti nyata keseriusan pemerintah dalam memberantas praktik penyelundupan dan tambang ilegal.
