Non si tratta più del semplice controllo della velocità istantanea: il sistema fotografa le targhe, identifica il conducente e lo schedula.
Basta però attraversare la frontiera — un breve tratto di Svizzera e si entra in Germania — per rendersi conto della differenza. Chi in Italia verrebbe trattato come un fuorilegge da multare, privare della patente e dei punti, in Germania è semplicemente un automobilista che viaggia sulle proprie strade senza limite di velocità. E i dati raccontano una realtà scomoda: gli incidenti sui tratti autostradali tedeschi privi di limite sono inferiori a quelli registrati sui tratti italiani controllati dal tutor.
