ABD Menkul Kıymetler ve Borsa Komisyonu (SEC), NFT platformu OpenSea’ye yönelik yürüttüğü soruşturmayı kapattı. OpenSea CEO’su Devin Finzer, bu kararın hem kripto hem de NFT sektörü için olumlu bir gelişme olduğunu belirtti.SEC, Ağustos 2024’te OpenSea’ye Wells bildirimi göndermiş ve platformun kayıt dışı menkul kıymet piyasası olarak faaliyet göstermiş olabileceğini öne sürmüştü. Ancak, soruşturmanın düşmesi, NFT'lerin menkul kıymet olarak sınıflandırılmasına yönelik düzenleyici baskının azaldığı şeklinde değerlendiriliyor.
