"Indonesia butuh lebih dari 50 pesawat tambahan untuk maskapai nasional Garuda," kata Menteri Koordinator Bidang Perekonomian Airlangga Hartarto dalam wawancara khusus dengan BBC.Indonesia sepakat untuk membeli pesawat Boeing dari AS sebagai bagian dari kesepakatan tarif. Airlangga mengatakan, Indonesia mensyaratkan pesawat Boeing harus terjamin keamanan dan keselamatannya.
Selain soal kesepakatan tarif, Airlangga juga berbicara tentang kesepakatan ekspor dan impor produk dengan komponen nuklir, hingga kedekatan Indonesia-China.
