Unlearning Emotional Patterns | Sunil Jain | TEDxNMIMS Indore
The talk explores the relationship between the mind and the body, examining how psychological processes can influence physical responses and behaviour. It looks at the role of negative emotions and how they can remain with us, shaping the way we respond to situations even after the original experience has passed. The speaker discusses the need to recognise and unlearn these patterns, while introducing breathing practices as a way of regulating the body’s response to emotional and psychological stress. In the context of “The Age of Unlearning,” the talk considers how understanding the mind-body connection can help us rethink the patterns we carry with us.Mr. Sunil Jain is a businessman and Art of Living faculty member whose journey brings together two seemingly different worlds, entrepreneurship and inner well-being. As the owner of the SK Group of Hostels, he has built his professional life in the hospitality industry, while his work as a full-time Art of Living faculty member has led him towards helping people find greater balance through mindfulness and breath. His journey challenges the conventional belief that success is defined only by what we build externally. His work reflects the idea that sometimes growth does not come from learning something new, but from unlearning the noise, distractions, and patterns that occupy our minds. His story is a reminder that ambition and inner stillness do not have to exist at opposite ends, and that true growth can come from learning when to act, when to pause, and when to simply breathe. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx Receive SMS online on sms24.me
