Contratto bloccato da 20 anni, «paghe vicino alla soglia della povertà» e nessuna prospettiva per stabilizzazioni e turn over. Anche i lavoratori della Fondazione Petruzzelli di Bari e dell’orchestra della Città Metropolitana sono scesi in piazza, nella mattinata di lunedì 9 marzo, per un sit-in di protesta davanti alla Prefettura. Quella del teatro barese, incendiato nel 1991 e riaperto solo nel 2009, è la situazione più critica e più svantaggiata: si tratta dell’ente lirico italiano più giovane e più piccolo e che quindi risente di meno tutele e di norme aggiornate al ribasso. Nel presidio organizzato dalle sigle Slc Cgil, Fistel Cisl, Uilcom e Fials Cisal - le stesse che poi il 16 marzo saranno a Roma per la grande manifestazione nazionale - orchestrali e coristi hanno intrattenuto il pubblico e i passanti sulle note del "Va pensiero" e dell’inno nazionale per sensibilizzare su un comparto, la cultura, «per il quale nell’ultima manovra di Bilancio il Governo e il ministero non hanno previsto risorse e adeguamenti contrattuali». «La cultura – hanno ribadito i sindacati – fa crescere il Paese, crea indotto, fa girare l’economia».
