Un cubano recuerda cómo, siendo niño, con solo una peceta podía comprar comida, compartir con su madre y hasta bailar rumba con alegría en su barrio. Habla de su comunidad, de las bodegas, de las barberías, de los vecinos que daban, no quitaban.
Y luego suelta la verdad: “Este sistema nos ha hecho retroceder mil años luz.”
Mientras en Cuba la gente come basura y los supermercados están vacíos, en Miami los precios y la abundancia le recuerdan a muchos cómo era la Cuba de verdad, la que existía antes de que el comunismo lo destruyera todo.
