Saat ini, ia menjabat sebagai Menteri Perhubungan RI periode 2024-2029.
Dudy Purwagandhi mengawali karier sebagai Staff Assistant BOD PT Tri Usaha Bhakti Truba dari 1997 hingga 2004.
Kemudian ia ditunjuk sebagai GA Department Head di perusahaan yang sama pada 2004 hingga 2007.
Dudy juga pernah menjadi Internal Audit di PT Dua Samudera Perkasa dari 2007 sampai 2008.
Sementara untuk pendidikan sendiri, Dudy merupakan lulusan Sarjana Hukum dari Universitas Tri Sakti, Jakarta pada tahun 1995.
