Congresistas republicanos y Dariel Fernández buscan revocar licencias por envíos de lujo a Cuba
El influencer y activista cubanoamericano Alex Otaola respalda el pedido formal del congresista Carlos A. Giménez, quien junto a Mario Díaz-Balart y María Elvira Salazar solicitó a la administración de Donald Trump revocar licencias a compañías que estarían enviando artículos de lujo a Cuba bajo cobertura “humanitaria”.El presidente de la Fundación Cubana Anticomunista denuncia que no hay nada humanitario en el envío de jetskis, autos de alta gama o bienes suntuosos mientras el pueblo cubano enfrenta apagones y escasez. Según expone el activista, estas prácticas terminan beneficiando directamente al aparato del régimen y sosteniendo su estructura de control.
Además, Otaola destaca la labor del Tax Collector Dariel Fernández, quien publicó documentación que revelaría cómo ciertas agencias han operado. Para el influencer, esto demuestra que cuando existe voluntad política, se pueden destapar irregularidades que durante años fueron denunciadas sin consecuencias.
El mensaje es claro: si se violó el embargo bajo el disfraz de ayuda, deben retirarse licencias y aplicarse sanciones. La transparencia no puede ser selectiva ni tardía.
