Trump FURIOUS Over Nobel Snub, Calls Prize ‘DISGRACED’ & Threatens Iran | FP Video
US President Donald Trump lashed out at the Norwegian Nobel Committee after being passed over for the Nobel Peace Prize, arguing that his diplomatic record deserved global recognition. Speaking at a rally in Syracuse, New York, Trump said the United States, represented by him as president, should have received the honour, adding that his administration deserved eight Nobel Prizes for the conflicts he claims to have helped resolve.Trump’s remarks came after the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to Navi Pillay, a former international judge associated with UN human rights investigations, including a report that concluded Israel committed genocide in Gaza. Trump called the recipient a “mystery person” and described the committee’s decision as a disgrace and an “indelible stain” on Norway.
Reiterating his claims of settling eight wars, Trump said he was also working towards resolving the Russia-Ukraine conflict and the war with Iran. He warned that the Iran conflict would end “one way or the other,” escalating his rhetoric as he continued to criticise the Nobel Committee and question the credibility of the award.
