Las autoridades de la República Democrática del Congo han confirmado hasta el momento 956 casos confirmados de ébola y cerca de 250 fallecidos a causa de esta enfermedad.El Ministerio de Salud congoleño señaló que más de 90 personas se han recuperado.
El país enfrenta múltiples desafíos para contener el virus, principalmente por la resistencia de las comunidades locales y la escasez de personal médico.
