"Los renacidos" llevó al cine una frontera poco explorada

La coproducción entre Argentina, Chile y España "Los renacidos", dirigida por Santiago Esteves, tuvo su estreno mundial en el XXVII Festival Internacional de Cine de Shanghai, donde compitió por el premio Cáliz de Oro.
La película, un thriller criminal ambientado en la cordillera de los Andes, narra la historia de dos hermanos que se dedican a un negocio clandestino: ayudar a personas a fingir su muerte para cruzar la frontera entre Argentina y Chile y empezar una nueva vida.
Pedro Fontaine, actor chileno que interpretó a Manuel, un médico mendocino atrapado por las deudas y los fantasmas familiares, contó que el rodaje se realizó en locaciones remotas de Mendoza, como el Valle de Uco, Uspallata y zonas cercanas al Aconcagua.
Fue, según recordó, un rodaje exigente por el clima, la altura y la exigencia física de cada escena, pero también una experiencia valiosa por la oportunidad de retratar paisajes poco transitados por el cine. #China #CulturaChina #wh #SIFF2025
