En diálogo con Exitosa, Leonel Aguilar, geólogo de la Universidad Autónoma del Perú, explicó debido a qué factores se origina un sismo. Sostuvo que lo que genera los movimientos telúricos en el país cuando friccionan la placa de Nazca y la placa Sudamericana.
