Yair Lapid mengatakan pidato Netanyahu di Majelis Umum PBB pada Jumat (26/8) cengeng dan penuh dengan gimmick berlebihan.
Kritikan itu disampaikan Yair Lapid melalui akun X pribadinya.
Lapid menyoroti pidato Netanyahu terutama saat buronan Mahkamah Pidana Internasional (ICC) itu menyampaikan pesan kepada para tawanan Israel yang ditahan Hamas di Gaza.
Yang mana saat itu Netanyahu menegaskan bahwa dirinya peduli terhadap warga Israel yang ditahan Hamas.
“Pahlawan-pahlawan kami yang berani. Ini Perdana Menteri Netanyahu berbicara dengan Anda langsung dari PBB,” kata Netanyahu.
Netanyahu mengatakan bahwa militernya tidak akan mundur hingga para tawanan dibebaskan Hamas.
Kalimat tersebut dinilai mantan Perdana Menteri Israel Yair Lapid sebagai retorika yang penuh dengan kepura-puraan.
Lapid mengatakan Netanyahu justru memperburuk keadaan negaranya dengan menyampaikan pidato di PBB dan tidak bisa menghentikan tsunami diplomatik. (Tribun-Video.com)
