Il democratico James Talarico è riuscito in un’impresa straordinaria: conquistare in Texas un seggio al Senato dopo 38 anni: non accadeva dal 1988. L’ha fatto mentre parallelamente, Gina Hinojosa veniva eletta la prima governatrice dem dal 1990 (e prima latinoamericana del Texas). La fede e l’economia sono state un binomio vincente per lui.
