PLÖTZLICHE RÜCKKEHR: Bundeswehr verlässt Grönland nach nur 44 StundenDer Einsatz endet schneller als erwartet: Nach nicht einmal 44 Stunden in Grönlands Hauptstadt Nuuk tritt die Bundeswehr die Rückreise an. Fünfzehn Soldaten fliegen mit einer Zivilmaschine von Icelandair über Reykjavik zurück nach Deutschland. Der Aufenthalt war als reine Erkundungsmission geplant, eine dauerhafte Stationierung nie vorgesehen. Doch die überraschend schnelle Abreise kam selbst für die Delegation unerwartet. Der Rückruf-Befehl kam am Morgen direkt aus Berlin. Noch am Vortag hieß es, die Dauer des Einsatzes sei offen. Nun ist klar: Die Erkenntnisse gehen nach Berlin, der Einsatz ist vorerst beendet.
