US-Iran war: On the fifth day of a widening conflict in West Asia, Iran’s retaliation is expanding across the region, as Tehran continues to target diplomatic missions, oil infrastructure, and US-linked facilities. A suspected Iranian drone hit a parking area near the US Consulate in Dubai, prompting road closures, as US Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed personnel were safe. Thick smoke was also seen near the Fujairah oil terminal, a key hub at the mouth of the Strait of Hormuz, through which nearly one-fifth of global oil flows. In Israel, sirens sounded as missiles were intercepted over major cities. Meanwhile, it has emerged that the drones that struck the US Embassy complex in Riyadh on March 2nd, in fact, hit the CIA station inside the compound.------
