In un video registrato dagli attivisti dell'ong Mediterranea le drammatiche fasi del salvataggio di una decina di migranti nel mar Mediterraneo, in acque internazionali. È successo il 21 agosto . Secondo chi era a bordo della nave ong a costringere i profughi a tuffarsi sono stati «militari al servizio del governo di Tripoli». Mediterranea ha presentato un esposto alla Procura di Trapani con l'ipotesi di reato di tentato omicidio dei dieci ragazzi in mare. «Stavolta li abbiamo fotografati e filmati, siamo risaliti alle loro identità, sappiamo chi sono - affermano gli attivisti -. Abbiamo inviato anche alla Corte Penale Internazionale tutto il materiale, alla sbarra stavolta dovrebbero andare non solo i criminali dei lager e delle fosse comuni, ma anche chi li protegge e chi li finanzia».
