🔴 Tag 26 – Die Rettung vom Ostsee-Wal Timmy geht weiter | BILD LIVEEs ist eine gute und eine schlechte Nachricht zugleich: Am Sonntagmittag soll das Wasser in der Wismarer Bucht um 50 Zentimeter steigen. Gut für den Transport von Timmy durch die Rinne zur Schute. Schlecht, weil der Wal sich auch von selbst freischwimmen könnte. Chef-Taucher Fred Babbel: „Wir haben jetzt die Big Bags (Riesensandsäcke, d. Red.). Die werden von Freiwilligen auf dem Parkplatz mit einem kleinen Bagger mit Sand befüllt. Die nutzen wir, damit uns am Sonntag der Wal nicht entfleucht. Quasi als Barriere.“ Timmy könnte sonst erneut in flachen Gewässern stranden und die Bergung wieder um Tage verzögern.
