Hollywood verliert eine seiner großen Ikonen: Diane Keaton ist im Alter von 79 Jahren gestorben. Die Schauspielerin soll seit Monaten gesundheitlich schwer angeschlagen gewesen sein. Ihren internationalen Durchbruch feierte sie 1977 mit der Hauptrolle in Der Stadtneurotiker von Woody Allen – ein Part, der ihr den Oscar einbrachte. Weltweite Bekanntheit erlangte sie auch durch ihre Rolle als Kay Adams-Corleone in Der Pate. Keaton war mehr als nur Schauspielerin: Als Regisseurin, Produzentin, Autorin und Fotografin prägte sie die amerikanische Kultur über Jahrzehnte hinweg.
