177 Warga Boven Digoel Papua Selatan Keracunan Makanan saat Hadiri Kampanye, ini Dugaan Penyebabnya
PAPUA SELATAN, KOMPAS.TV - Ratusan warga di Kabupaten Boven Digoel, Papua Selatan, diduga mengalami keracunan makanan yang disediakan saat kampanye salah satu pasangan calon kepala daerah.Sebanyak 177 warga Boven Digoel dibawa ke rumah sakit usai mengonsumsi makanan yang dibagikan dalam kampanye salah satu pasangan calon bupati di Kampung Mawan, Distrik Mandobo, pada Sabtu (28/6/2025) sore.
Warga dibawa ke rumah sakit karena mengalami gejala mual, pusing, hingga diare.
Berdasarkan pengakuan warga, rasa makanan yang dibagikan sudah agak asam. Sementara dari 177 warga yang dibawa ke rumah sakit, tinggal 20 orang yang masih menjalani perawatan, 17 di antaranya merupakan anak-anak.
Paslon yang menggelar kampanye di Distrik Mandobo membenarkan jika terjadi keterlambatan pendistribusian makanan untuk warga. Tim paslon akan bertanggung jawab atas kejadian ini.
Dinkes Kabupaten Boven Digoel bersama pihak kepolisian sedang melakukan pemeriksaan sampel makanan untuk mencari tahu penyebab warga keracunan.
