77 Orang Tertipu Kontrakan Fiktif di Bekasi, Kerugian Capai Rp4,1 Miliar!
BEKASI, KOMPAS.TV - Polisi menangkap dua pelaku penipuan modus kontrakan fiktif yang ditawarkan dengan harga murah di Bekasi, Jawa Barat.Pelaku ditangkap setelah menipu 77 orang dengan total kerugian Rp4,1miliar.
Korban penipuan jual beli kontrakan meluapkan emosinya kepada dua pelaku saat digiring polisi di Mapolres Bekasi Kota.
Mereka emosi karena uang ratusan juta rupiah hasil menabung yang rencananya untuk membeli rumah kontrakan raib, ditipu oleh pelaku.
Korban tertipu jual beli rumah kontrakan fiktif yang dipasarkan melalui media sosial, mulai Rp60 juta.
Awalnya, pelaku menawarkan rumah kontrakan milik keluarga dari salah satu pelaku melalui media sosial. Namun, setelah dibayar oleh korban, pelaku meminta korban menunggu dengan alasan rumah kontrakan masih ditempati orang lain.
Uang hasil penipuan digunakan korban untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari. Aksi ini sudah dilakukan pelaku sejak Juni 2023 lalu.
Polisi menyebut, total korban mencapai 77 orang dan kerugian mencapai Rp4,1 miliar.
Kedua pelaku dijerat pasal tentang penipuan dengan ancaman empat tahun penjara.
