Isaac Moreno Gallo es un ingeniero, historiador y divulgador español, considerado uno de los mayores expertos en ingeniería romana del mundo. Compatibilizó su carrera en el Ministerio de Fomento con la investigación técnica de calzadas, acueductos y topografía antigua, lo que le permitió desmontar numerosos mitos arqueológicos desde un enfoque constructivo real. Además, su trabajo ha sido fundamental para identificar el trazado real de miles de kilómetros de vías romanas que la historiografía tradicional había clasificado erróneamente.
