You Do Not Need an Architect First. You Need This First.

Thinking about building a serious soundproof studio?
Your first call probably shouldn't be to an architect.
That sounds backwards, but here's the problem:
An architect can design the building beautifully. But if the sound isolation requirements aren't defined first, the architect is designing around assumptions.
Then the sound isolation specialist gets involved.
The walls change. The doors change. HVAC changes. The budget changes.
Now you're paying to redesign something that should have been defined from the start.
The better order is simple:
Define the acoustic requirements → design the building → price the complete scope.
You still need an architect. You just don't want them designing around a soundproofing guess.
