Bangunan yang dijadikan ruang kelas itu sebenarnya difungsikan untuk water closet (wc).
Namun bangunan itu disulap menjadi ruang belajar untuk murid kelas 1 SDN 002 Desa Tanjung, Kecamatan Koto Kampar Hulu.
Sirkulasi udara hanya masuk melalui sebuah pintu dengan jendela yang berada di atas.
Tempat duduk siswa pun tidak berjajar seperti pada umumnya, tetapi mengelilingi ruang kelas.
Kekurangan lokal hingga rombongan belajar yang terus bertambah membuat ruangan ini terpaksa diubah menjadi ruang kelas.
Selain bekas WC, ruangan itu juga jauh dari kata layak karena atapnya banyak yang bocor.
Sekolah tidak mempunyai solusi lain sehingga sebagian orang tua akhirnya terpaksa menerimanya setelah diberi penjelasan.
Kondisi ini juga telah berjalan lima tahun lamanya.(Tribun-Video.Com)
