POLEN: Drohnen von Russland abgeschossen! So funktioniert die Verteidigung der NatoAlarm in Polen und in der gesamten Nato wegen fast 20 russischen Drohnen über dem Nachbarland Deutschlands: "Eine große Zahl" russischer Drohnen drang in der Nacht zum Mittwoch in den polnischen Luftraum ein und wurde nach polnischen Angaben teils abgeschossen. Polens Regierungschef Donald Tusk sprach von einer "Provokation großen Ausmaßes", Warschau beantragte Konsultationen der Nato nach Artikel 4 des Militärbündnisses wegen Bedrohung eines Mitgliedstaates. Seit Beginn des Ukraine-Kriegs 2022 haben Polen und die Nato-Staaten im Baltikum immer wieder Verletzungen ihres Luftraums durch einzelne russische Drohnen gemeldet, bisher hatten sie aber nie Drohnen abgeschossen - und noch nie ein solches Ausmaß gemeldet.
Ob die russischen Drohnen absichtlich den polnischen Luftraum verletzten oder ob sie aus Versehen beim Angriff Russlands auf die Ukraine bis nach Polen flogen, war zunächst unklar. Russland hatte in der Nacht erneut massive Angriffe auf die Ukraine geflogen, unter anderem auf die westukrainische Stadt Lwiw, die etwa 80 Kilometer von der Grenze zu Polen entfernt ist. Dabei wurden nach Angaben der ukrainischen Armee 458 Drohnen und Raketen eingesetzt.
