Pemanggilan ini menyusul demo di depan Gedung DPR RI pada Senin (25/8/2025) yang berujung ricuh karena konten provokatif tersebut.
"Iya (akan memanggil). Saya pribadi, tadi sama Pak Dirjen juga, saya hubungi. Yang pertama, saya sudah hubungi Head TikTok Asia Pasifik, Helena. Saya minta mereka ke Jakarta," ujar Angga dalam Ngopi Sore bersama pers, Selasa (26/8/2025).
Selain TikTok, Kementerian Komunikasi dan Digital (Komdigi) juga sudah berbicara dengan pihak Meta Indonesia.
Adapun platform X belum berkomunikasi lantaran tidak memiliki kantor di Indonesia.
Lebih lanjut Angga menyampaikan, fenomena disinformasi, fitnah, dan kebencian (DFK) pada akhirnya merusak sendi demokrasi.
Menurutnya, sebuah aspirasi bisa menjadi bias lantaran produksi konten serupa.
"Bukan kita mau membungkam atau menghalangi kebebasan berekspresi. Tapi di dalam koridor yang baik, bukan hal yang untuk anarkis," imbuh dia.
