NEW YORK (STATI UNITI) (ITALPRESS) - "Per essere efficaci, non sono solo le istituzioni che dobbiamo riformare. Perché siamo di fronte a un cambio d'epoca, e questo impone una revisione profonda di tutti gli strumenti che abbiamo per regolare i rapporti tra le Nazioni e difendere i diritti delle persone, comprese le Convenzioni Internazionali. Penso, ad esempio, alle convenzioni che regolano la migrazione e l'asilo. Sono regole sancite in un'epoca nella quale non esistevano le migrazioni irregolari di massa, e non esistevano i trafficanti di esseri umani. Convenzioni non più attuali in questo contesto che, quando vengono interpretate in modo ideologico e unidirezionale da magistrature politicizzate, finiscono per calpestare il diritto, invece di affermarlo". Lo ha detto il presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, nel suo intervento all'80esima Assemblea Generale delle Nazioni Unite.
