El 5 de agosto se inauguró oficialmente el "Carnaval Cultural de Cine del Grupo de Medios de China: Especial Wuhan". El evento está dirigido por la Administración Nacional de Cine de China y organizado conjuntamente por el Grupo de Medios de China y el Gobierno Popular Municipal de Wuhan. Con el objetivo de promover el desarrollo de alta calidad de la industria cinematográfica china, el carnaval destaca el papel del cine en la preservación del patrimonio cultural, el fortalecimiento de la industria, el impulso del turismo cultural y la dinamización del crecimiento económico. El festival reúne estrenos de nuevas películas, experiencias inmersivas relacionadas con el cine, mercados de productos culturales y creativos, ferias gastronómicas y otras actividades innovadoras.
