The Desert Perpetual Raid - Epoptes, Lord of Quanta Boss Fight (Contest Mode) [Destiny 2]

Destiny 2 The Edge of Fate - The Desert Perpetual Raid - Epoptes Lord of Quanta Boss Fight (Contest Mode). Just a video of our first clear of The Desert Perpetual Raid on Contest Mode.

Mechanics: 3 groups of 2. 2 in middle, 2 on left, 2 on right. Clear adds and Cyclops at start, and then 1 person from left and right stand on the plate to grab the buff. The people with the buff then go inside and follow the light beam from the boss around. There's a pillar in the room that shows you what needs to be shot. Each one lights up one of the 6 orbs, and both the left and right side need to call those out for the opposite side and shoot. You repeat this 4 times until the boss locks down.

When that happens, the two people in the middle both need to grab the buff. On the pillar in the middle of the room, there's 3 lights in a triangle that they need to look at and call out for each other which one is missing, and then light up the ones on their opposite sides. The people in the side rooms also need to listen to what one each one matching their side is called, and shoot that in the triangle that appears above the boss in the middle.

After that, the two people from the side rooms rebuff, and finish the final 2-3 orbs on the boss, and finally shoot the shield in the middle. Everyone then goes to middle, and the two people from the rooms will shoot the center of the shield of the boss.

Finally, 2 people will be selected at random. Each of those people need to see what side the boss has the rotating light on, and go to that side. They need to be fast getting into the light, as this brings the immunity shield down for the other 4 people. When the 6 orbs appear, each person needs to shoot the 6 orbs on their side, and the light in the middle of the shield to bring it down completely. Repeat this 3 times per phase.

We decided to take a break after the previous encounter, as we figured coming back more refreshed would be better overall. The raid is very tough, but hopefully we'll be able to get the rest of the clear.
