"Semarah apa pun saya, sebanyak apa pun saya menangis, anak saya sudah tidak bisa kembali. Tapi setidaknya ada keadilan buat anak saya," kata Sampe Mulyana, yang akrab disapa Ully.Anak sulungnya, Kevin Febrian Chen, meninggal dunia dalam kecelakaan lalu lintas pada pertengahan Juni lalu. Kevin diduga menjadi korban tabrak lari konvoi TNI di Jayapura, Papua.
Sebulan setelah peristiwa itu, belum ada yang ditetapkan sebagai tersangka.
Ully mengaku sudah mencari sendiri bukti CCTV, melapor ke Polsek Sentani, mendatangi Pomdam XVII Cendrawasih, hingga ke Komnas HAM Papua. Tetapi sampai saat ini, Ully belum mendapat keadilan yang dicarinya.
Kepala Penerangan Kodam XVII/Cenderawasih Kolonel Infanteri Tri Purwanto mengatakan kasus ini sudah dalam penyelidikan.
Dalam konferensi pers pada Kamis (30/7), Tri Purwanto menyampaikan duka cita kepada keluarga almarhum Kevin Febrian Chen.
"Kami sepenuhnya memahami duka cita dan harapan keluarga untuk mendapatkan keadilan. Oleh karena itu, institusi kami berkomitmen penuh agar proses penyelidikan berjalan profesional dan berlandaskan pada fakta serta alat bukti yang sah," kata Kolonel Tri Purwanto.
Komandan Polisi Militer Kodam XVII/Cenderawasih, Kolonel Cpm Roby Zulkarnaen, mengatakan empat orang saksi sudah diperiksa.
"Kami melaksanakan olah TKP bersama Polres Jayapura. Saksi-saksi yang sudah diperiksa sebanyak empat orang dan sisanya masih ada yang kita panggil kemarin belum hadir," kata Kolonel Roby.
