UKRAINE-KRIEG: "Putin ist auf der Siegerstraße!" Dramatisch! Jetzt schlägt ein Ex-General Alarm!Im WELT-Studio warnt General a.D. Roland Kather eindringlich vor der aktuellen Entwicklung an der Front. Nach den jüngsten massiven Angriffen mit Raketen und Drohnenschwärmen sieht Kather die Ukraine militärisch stark unter Druck. Die russische Strategie, gezielte Zerstörung durch Luftangriffe und stetige Geländegewinne, zeigt Wirkung. Kather betont: Ohne schnelle und entschlossene Unterstützung durch westliche Luftabwehrsysteme wie das Patriot-System und IRIS-T kann die Ukraine dem russischen Vormarsch kaum standhalten. Besonders kritisch sieht er die Uneinigkeit im Westen und die bislang unzureichenden Waffenlieferungen aus den USA und der Europäischen Union. Nach Gesprächen zwischen Donald Trump und Wladimir Putin sei eine Waffenruhe in weiter Ferne, die Lage bleibt dramatisch. Kather fordert deshalb klar: Der Westen muss jetzt handeln, um die Ukraine nachhaltig zu unterstützen und Putins Siegeszug zu stoppen!
