Torino, arriva la navetta senza autista: il primo giro con il sindaco Lo Russo a bordo

(Mattia Aimola) È entrata ufficialmente in funzione questa mattina la nuova navetta a guida autonoma che segna un importante traguardo nella sperimentazione della mobilità urbana intelligente a Torino. Il primo viaggio inaugurale ha visto tra i passeggeri anche il sindaco Stefano Lo Russo, che ha espresso grande entusiasmo per l’iniziativa. Il percorso copre circa tre chilometri, collegando corso Tortona, corso Regina Margherita e Lungo Dora Siena, con cinque fermate e capolinea al Campus Luigi Einaudi. Il servizio sarà attivo nei giorni feriali, dalle 11:00 alle 16:30, e potrà trasportare fino a otto passeggeri per corsa. Per utilizzarlo, sarà necessario prenotare tramite l’app Wetaxi, selezionando l’opzione “AuToMove”. La navetta è dotata di sensori e tecnologie di comunicazione avanzate che le permettono di ricevere in tempo reale dati sull’ambiente, come lo stato dei semafori o la presenza di ostacoli.
