Uno, la rivalidad ruso-estadounidense no murió en la guerra fría, sino que la Rusia de Putin sigue teniendo incuestionablemente al Tío Sam como su némesis. Dos, Estados Unidos es el principal aliado de Israel, el cual se puede considerar como el bastión de occidente en Oriente Próximo. Por eso otras potencias europeas como Alemania, Francia y Reino Unido, también rivales de Rusia apoyan al estado judío.De estas dos verdades geopolíticas, podríamos pensar que Rusia debería condenar a Israel, y vaya que Tel Aviv le da material de sobra a Moscú para crear una retórica antisionista. Además, ambos países han apoyado a bandos opuestos en la guerra de Siria, y Moscú tiene buenas relaciones con el archienemigo de Israel, Irán. Con todo esto, nos hacemos la siguiente pregunta… ¿Cómo es que Rusia no ha condenado enérgicamente las acciones de Israel, y más bien parece mantenerse al margen de lo que ocurre en Gaza? ¿Te interesa?
