Respons IJTI atas Pencabutan Kartu Identitas Liputan Reporter Istana
Ikatan Jurnalis Televisi Indonesia (IJTI) menyatakan keprihatinan atas penarikan kartu identitas liputan Istana dari rekan jurnalis Diana Valencia, yang dilakukan setelah ia bertugas menjalankan fungsi jurnalistik. IJTI meminta penjelasan kepada Biro Pers, Media, dan Informasi (BPMI) Sekretariat Presiden atas peristiwa ini. Dalam pandangan IJTI, pertanyaan yang diajukan saudari Diana Valencia masih dalam koridor etika jurnalistik dan relevan bagi kepentingan publik. Terlebih, Presiden Prabowo Subianto telah memberikan jawaban yang informatif terkait Program Makanan Bergizi Gratis, yang semestinya menjadi bahan penting untuk diketahui masyarakat luas. IJTI menegaskan pentingnya kemerdekaan pers sebagaimana dijamin dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 40 Tahun 1999 tentang Pers.
