LUFTHANSA: Flugkonzern streicht 4000 Arbeitsplätze und setzt lieber auf KI und AutomatisierungDer Lufthansa-Konzern will bis zum Jahr 2030 in der Verwaltung 4.000 Stellen einsparen. Die Prozesse sollen digitalisiert, automatisiert und gebündelt werden, teilt das Unternehmen zum Kapitalmarkttag in München mit. Es konkretisierte damit unbestätigte Berichte aus der Vorwoche.
Zudem werden die mittelfristigen Finanzziele hochgesetzt. Europas größtes Luftverkehrsunternehmen mit zuletzt rund 103.000 Beschäftigten will künftig einen operativen Gewinn (bereinigtes Ebit) von 8 bis 10 Prozent des Umsatzes erreichen. Bislang galt die Zielmarke von 8 Prozent.
Für das laufende Jahr hat sich das Management optimistisch gezeigt. Der operative Gewinn vor Sonderposten (bereinigtes Ebit) soll den Vorjahreswert von 1,6 Milliarden Euro wie geplant deutlich übertreffen.
