L’anticipazione della nuova maglia del Verona, quella che l’Hellas indosserà nella stagione 2026-2027, è arrivata, con un certo effetto «boombastico», dal palco dell’Arena, la sera di lunedì 7 luglio. Uno «spoiler» in musica, visto che a metterci il segno sono stati i Lumineers, band di folk e indie rock Usa, in concerto nell’anfiteatro veronese. Durante lo spettacolo, a indossare la casacca gialloblù è stato il frontman Wesley Schultz, che nel finale dello show ha cantato e suonato vestendo la prossima maglia dell’Hellas. Un’autentica sorpresa, che ha così svelato quanto il club ha poi presentato martedì attraverso i canali ufficiali. Così, le diverse migliaia di fans dei Lumineers presenti hanno potuto vedere che il Verona giocherà con una divisa, firmata dallo sponsor tecnico Joma, ovviamente in blu, che avrà sul petto una croce gialla, con il girocollo, una banda laterale e i bordi delle maniche sempre gialli. Evidentemente, prima che a portarla siano i calciatori dell’Hellas, con una «trovata» che è stata come un dribbling o una finta, l’ha fatto Schultz, che così ha salutato l’Arena. E i tifosi del Verona che erano al concerto sperano che la cosa porti fortuna alla squadra, appena retrocessa in B e che si presenta al via con l’ambizione di conquistare l’immediato ritorno in Serie A.
