La escalada del precio del combustible dispara los costes de aerolíneas de pasajeros estadounidenses

Según los datos publicados el 8 de junio por el Departamento de Transporte estadounidense, los costes de combustible de las aerolíneas de pasajeros de Estados Unidos se dispararon un 78 % interanual hasta alcanzar casi 6.500 millones de dólares en abril, un 26 % más que en marzo.
El repunte se debió al conflicto en Oriente Medio, que impulsó al alza los precios pese a que las compañías aéreas consumieron un 2,6 % menos de combustible que en marzo.
