Lithuanian diplomat and energy policy leader, Albinas Zananavičius has played an important role in integrating the Baltic electrical grids with the rest of Europe. He explains the fastest energy transition in the world and at the end why energy is never about technology but about people, policy, and interconnection. Albinas Zananavicius is a Lithuanian diplomat and senior executive with expertise in international trade, EU affairs, and energy policy. As Vice-Minister of Energy, he led Lithuania’s role in the Baltic Synchronization Program integrating Baltic grids with Europe. He also served as Vice-Minister for European Affairs and Ambassador at COREPER I, shaping key EU policies. He advocates for sustainable, practical policies that serve the public good.
