Seorang pria bernama Sani, sopir taksi ditemukan terkapar bersimbah darah dengan luka parah di bagian leher akibat digorok.
Nyawa korban tak tertolong setelah kehabisan darah di lokasi kejadian.
Korban diduga mengalami penganiayaan dengan menggunakan sajam, di depan ruko yang dioperasionalkan sebagai gudang.
6 jam setelah menerima laporan, Unit Macan Bamega Satreskrim Polres Kotabaru berhasil mengamankan pelaku berinsual S (40).
Polisi juga melakukan tindakan terukur, karena pelaku memberikan perlawanan saat diamankan.
Diketahui S adalah residivis dan pernah ditahan dua kali.
Saat dihadirkan saat konferensi pers Satreskrim Polres Kotabaru, Jumat (26/9) pelaku menyatakan penyesalannya.
Sambil terbata-bata, tersangka menyampaikan permohonan maaf kepada pihak keluarga korban.
