DOBRINDT: „Israel muss unser starker Partner in Sicherheitsfragen sein“ | WELT-TALKDeutschland und Israel haben einen umfassenden Sicherheitspakt unterzeichnet, der eine enge Zusammenarbeit bei der Terrorismusbekämpfung, Cyberabwehr und Raketenverteidigung vorsieht. Innenminister Alexander Dobrindt (CSU) reiste dafür zu einem Blitzbesuch nach Israel und traf dort Premierminister Netanjahu. Der Vertrag markiert eine historische Vertiefung der sicherheitspolitischen Beziehungen – auch durch deutsche Beteiligung am Aufbau von Sicherheitsstrukturen vor Ort. Im Fokus steht der „Cyberdome“: ein integratives Schutzkonzept gegen hybride Bedrohungen, von dem auch deutsche Infrastrukturen profitieren sollen. Das Vertrauen sei gewachsen, betont Dobrindt – trotz früherer Spannungen im Verhältnis zu Israel.
