Они обнаружили абсолютно гигантский алмаз—2 492 карата, что делает его вторым по величине за всю историю! 💎 Канадская горнодобывающая компания Lucara Diamond Corp. объявила об этом в августе 2024 года, и всё это произошло на руднике Карове в Ботсване. Забавно, что это то же самое место, где в 2015 году был найден предыдущий алмаз второго места — Леседи Ла Рона весом 1 109 карат.
