Der rheinland-pfälzische Ministerpräsident Schweitzer äußert sich im „SWR Aktuell Sommerinterview“ zu den Lehren aus der Corona-Pandemie. Mit Blick auf künftige Pandemien sagt Schweitzer, Kinder dürften nicht zuhause isoliert werden. Im Nachgang sei klar: Kindertagesstätten und Schulen hätten nicht geschlossen werden müssen. Ausserdem möchte Schweitzer die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Land und Kommunen beim Wiederaufbau im Ahrtal verbessern.
