O Google revelou, nesta terça-feira (11), durante o evento Google for Brasil, que o país será o primeiro a receber o recurso Bloqueio por Detecção de Roubo. A novidade chega a partir do começo do próximo mês de julho.

A ferramenta de segurança havia sido anunciada no mês passado durante o Google I/O. Chamado de Theft Detection Lock em inglês, a solução bloqueia um celular que foi roubado por uma pessoa que saiu correndo a pé, de bicicleta, carro, moto etc.

Segundo o Google, a solução chega primeiro ao Brasil porque, dentre outros motivos, foram justamente os especialistas brasileiros que sugeriram a funcionalidade para os executivos dos Estados Unidos.
