I wasn't expecting the demo to be expanded before release, so this was a pleasant surprise. The combat feels great in this game, very smooth and responsive, just really enjoyable to play. It's not the most difficult as this is the second boss in the game, and this was with me trying to slow it down so it would absorb the souls and do the two different transformations. Even with that the fight wasn't too long.
Dodging and parrying feels very viable in this, which I used a mix of both on this boss. There's also Issen which I didn't bother with this time, as I just wanted to fight the boss normally and not need to learn the super tight timings. On the previous boss I had an Issen Only defeat of the boss no damage, along with dodge only and parry only defeats which you can see below. I'll save some Issen only clears for bosses on the full release in the future.

Either way, as I said on those videos too, this game is definitely up there as one of the ones I'm most looking forward to. It's my first Onimusha game, and before playing the demo I was interested in it but not sure what to expect. After the demo, and even more so the extended demo, I can't wait until September 4th for the full release.
