AIRBUS A330 LANDING on a WET RUNWAY with INTENSE WATER SPRAY (4K)
Airbus A330 landing on a wet runway at Liege Airport a few weeks ago. It was raining all day and that` s why the runway was quite wet that day. The Air China Cargo Airbus A330-200 Freighter arrived from Stockholm and used full thrust reverse after touching down on runway 22L. It` s always impressive wo watch these heavy planes generate this intense water spray with the power of the reversers. Currently Air China Cargo operates to Liege almost twice daily with a mix of Airbus A330 and Boeing 777-200 Freighters. Sadly they stopped using the B747-400 Freighter in Europe and instead use them only on China - USA routes.Also note the good looking Boeing 777-200 of Maersk which started flying to Liege daily last year. The crew of the B777 asked if they could depart on runway 04R while runway 22 was in use and they were allowed to do that.
